Pemberian aromaterapi peppermint (mentha piperita) mampu mengurangi mual dan muntah akibat kemoterapi

Mual dan muntah merupakan efek samping kemoterapi yang paling umum. Upaya untuk mengatasinya menggunakan terapi farmakologi non farmakologi. akibat dapat beribeikan aromaterapi peppermint. Studi ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh pemberian Peppermint terhadap frekuensi mual muntah. deskriptif dengan pendekatan asuhan keperawatan melibatkan 3 subjek. Pengambilan data dilakukan secara accidental sampling. Kriteria inklusi meliputi pasien menerima regimen FOLFOX mendapatkan antiemetik sama yaitu Ondansetron 8mg/8jam. Aromaterapi di berikan cara meneteskan 1 tetes minyak peppermint dioleskan diantara hidung bibir, diberikan 3x sehari setelah selesainya antiemetik. kasus berlangsung dari tanggal 25 – 28 Desember 2023. Instrumen pengukuran The Index of Nausea, Vomiting, and Retching (INRV) mengobservasi pasca kemoterapi. Hasil evaluasi didapatkan adanya penurunan pada ketiga subjek studi menunjukkan rerata skor INVR sebesar 14, 2 10,75 10. Rata-rata skor. Masalah nausea berhubungan agen farmakologis (tindakan pengobatan kemoterapi) teratasi sebagian ditandai Molekul essensial oil akan memberikan relaks tenang, lain juga menghambat produksi serotonin sehingga mengurangi kontraksi otot perut gejala berkurang. pappermint mampu paska
